Lubbock Woman (II)
This painting is oil over acrylic on canvas and is part of the NAKED MUSIC series, in which Chris Gollon began a 2-year collaboration with Irish singer-songwriter Eleanor McEvoy. It is reproduced in the NAKED MUSIC Songbook, with forward by Jackie Hayden (journalist, author and first to sign U2 to a record deal), along with interviews with Chris Gollon and Eleanor McEvoy about their 2-year experiment in artistic boundary crossing.
London-born British artist Chris Gollon (1953 - 2017) was a very established and critically-acclaimed name in European painting, with many solo museum shows and museum acquisitions, including the British Museum. For further details on the recent books published on his work, public commissions, press coverage, visit the artist's page on our website. A Tv documentary is now being made on Chris Gollon's life and work.
IAP Fine Art has exclusivity on Gollon's work, and we help collectors begin or expand their collections, and we also work with museums and cathedrals with regard to exhibitions and acquisitions.
