'Job's Wife'
Float mounted and framed, this original painting (acrylic on paper) was in Chris Gollon's 2014-2016 national touring exhibition 'Incarnation, Mary & Women from the Bible'. In the Bible, we are not even given Job's first wife's name, when she was the first woman to question God. See the exhibitions page of chrisgollon.com for dates of exhibition in the ancient cathedrals of Norwich, Chichester and Durham. This painting is also in the exhibition catalogue, with texts by art historian Tamsin Pickeral and award-winning novelist Sara Maitland.
