No: 18 from `Heroic Stories of the Taiheiki` ( Taiheiki yeiyu den). Ref; Robinson S62.41. Suzuki Hida no Kami Shigeyuki crouching in half-armour by a bamboo-brake, having just discharged his pistol. Shigeyuki commanded the defense of the Ikko-Buddhists of Ishiyama Hongaji Temple during Nobunaga's attacks in the 19th century. Excellent impression with vibrant colours, excellent condition, trimmed.
