Drake and White Lotus (Osu-ikegamo, daibyakuren), from the series Six Flowers and Birds (Rokkachô). Signed Hiroshige ga 広重画. A very rare azuri-e nature scene by Hiroshige, one can also be found in the Museum of Fine Arts Boston which was donated in 1913 from the William S. and John T. Spaulding Collection. With excellent colour and good impression, slight thinning with paper remnants on reverse at top, some creasing and soiling.
