Viewing Japanese Maples from the series `Inner Chiyoda Palace (Chiyoda no Ooku)`, Album of Women, 1895. Five beauties beside a lake with waterfall in the right-hand background. A fine impression with lovely soft colours, good details and bokashi embossing on kimono collars. Three seperate panels, small loss at one corner, repaired, slight soiling, good condition overal. Framed.
