Actors Sawamura Chôjûrô V as Ashikaga Yorikane and Iwai Kumesaburô III as Miuraya Takao, with Chanter Tomimoto Buzentayû, No. 21 from an untitled series. Publisher Kobayashi Taijirô (Bunseidô / Bunshôdô), Censors' seals: Mera, Murata No blockcutter's mark 改印:米良、村田 彫師:なし. A dramatic scene from the play (shosa): Sawa Murasaki Iro no Minakami which would have beeen staged at the Nakamura Theatre. It shows Ashikaga Yorikane drawing his sword on his lover Miuraya Takao, while on a nearby boat musicians are playing. A good impression with excellent colours, some creasing and rubbing but overal in very good condition..
