Chris Gollon was a very sensitive painter of women, and is known for his portrayals of women from the Bible as well as his collaborations with Eleanor McEvoy and Yi Yao, in the last years of his life.

Chris Gollon was a master of technique in acrylic painting, combining Old Master techniques of very thin washes and glazes, with printmaking techniques, even the use of a printmaker's roller, alongside the latest spray paints. Liquitex, manufacturers of artist's acrylic paints, were so intrigued by his work they began supplying his paints for nothing in 2012, and filmed him working.

Chris Gollon (1953 - 2017), a critically-acclaimed painter in European art history, with many solo museum shows and museum acquisitions, including the British Museum. For further details on the recent books published on his work, public commissions, press coverage, visit the artist's page on our website. Following the artist's untimely death in 2017, museum exhibitions and public acquisitions are continuing.

IAP Fine Art holds Chris Gollon's artistic estate, and we help collectors begin or expand their collections. We also work with museums and cathedrals with regard to Chris Gollon exhibitions and acquisitions. A TV documentary is currently being made on Chris's life and work to be released in 2024.
