Chris Gollon (1953 -2017) was a very sensitive painter of women, and is known for his portrayals of women from the Bible as well as his collaborations with Eleanor McEvoy and Yi Yao, in the last years of his life. The new documentary ‘CHRIS GOLLON: Life in Paint’ (85mins), had its World Premiere at the Barbican Centre on 29th October 2024, as part of Doc ’n Roll Film Festival. A theatrical release is to be announced in 2025.

Chris Gollon is a critically-acclaimed painter in European art history, with many solo museum shows and museum acquisitions, including the British Museum.
