This is a screenprint from 13 stencils on Schoeller durex paper. It was published by Dorothea Leonhart in Munich from an edition of 5000.
Hamilton arrived at the original image by taking photographs of news images on his television set.
He finally used this image of the Kent State shootings in the USA.
The print and its proofs featured extensively in the Tate Modern's major retrospective of Hamilton ( 13th February - 26th May 2014).
