Untitled Etching "Types" Signed
Here we have something rare and special by David Shrigley.
These master-crafted gems are from an edition of just 20. After David etched the copper plates by hand, they were inked and pressed by master printer Michael Schäfer to create these wonderful examples.
As a special touch, we arranged the four individual presses to have identical edition numbers.
Pressed on 250g Somerset paper.
As the pieces are untitled we will refer to them as ;
"Tea", "Wine", "Type" and "Now We Must Rest"
The total size of each work is sized 29cm x 38cm
Signed, dated and numbered by the artist.
Please be aware that each press will be different, ink marks are a natural outcome of the etching process and adds character to the finished work. No two pieces will be exactly the same.
