This painting is part of 4 paintings which were inspired by a desire to share with my mother the beauty and vibrancy of the flowers in my garden. It was easy to realise that during the lockdown of the coronoavirus many people, like my mother, were unable to go outside. As a result I wanted to bring the outside inside, so that they could experience the visual sensation of spring and some of the flowers it has to offer.
