JAZZ - Lagoon
The Jazz series is some of Matisse’s best work. The original series was from 1947 and was in an edition of 250. This lithograph comes from a facsimile of the original works from 2004 and comes in an edition of 1500. The lithograph bears the normal centerfold, as issued, as is was printed on double page.
The original lithographs from 1947 are impossible to get hold of and collectors tend to go for these are they are the best there is since the originals. Printed in amazing colour, these really are beautiful. This lithograph was also printed by Mourlot and Ferreri, Paris, published by Éditions Anthèse, Paris, on Lana Royal paper.

PLEASE NOTE, THIS EDITION OF 1500 IS THE BEST THERE HAS BEEN SINCE THE ORIGINAL. Do not be fooled by other editions, this is the best there is.
