A small sailboat floats within something vast, veiled by a sense of time. It isn’t battling the ocean or weather. The boat is simply there. It doesn’t ask anything of its surroundings and receives nothing in return. Circumstances change, with or without us. The horizon line doesn’t alter that condition - it’s where the work meets the human idea of being still here.

It recognises solitude as something that can be chosen rather than endured, and fragility as a state that doesn’t require correction.
