To coincide with Eleanor McEvoy's UK tour starting Feb 2023, and her appearance on BBC Radio 4 'Woman's Hour' on 22nd Feb, this online exhibition showcases the unique artistic collaboration between singer-songwriter Eleanor McEvoy and Chris Gollon. The title track of her new album is the song Gimme Some Wine, dedicated to Chris Gollon and inspired by one of his paintings, which in turn took inspiration from a song Eleanor co-wrote with Lloyd Cole. Some of the paintings Chris Gollon painted in response to Gimme Some Wine are used on the album cover. This online exhibition gives more information on how Chris and Eleanor enjoyed an artistic boundary crossing for two years, with songs inspiring paintings and vice versa.
