"Markus Klinko: Iconic" showcases one image, chosen by Markus, for every year from 2000 to 2021.

"In the last 10 to 15 years, the art world of photography had a very strong focus on the '60s and '70s, but I wasn't a photographer then. During lockdown in 2020, I could feel this nostalgia emerge for anything 2000, which has been my signature because that's where some of my most well-known work was created. Now it's becoming fashionable."

His luminous portraits document the larger-than-life icons of 21st-century pop culture. Taken over 21 years, the images comprise a chronological archive of the era's most creative, diverse and compelling celebrities.
